The acoustic grooved panel board system uses beautiful wooden slotted and perforated panels to absorb sound on the walls and ceiling. Grooved wood wall panel is a high performance sound insulation product with excellent appearance. The timber veneer acoustic panel has a variety of configurations to meet all internal and acoustic requirements, and balance the reflection and absorption of sound through grooves and perforations. According to the design of the acoustic consultant, the grooved acoustic wall panels can be used to increase the NRC value.

The grooved panel board system adopts high-density MDF pre-laminated board, which complies with IS-14587:1998. All joints of the grooved timber panels are connected with pins to avoid sagging/unevenness. This ensures that the quality of each grooved wood wall panel of each project is consistent. The back of each grooved wood panel is equipped with a layer of black acoustic fluff, forming an air gap between the wall and the grooved timber panel. According to acoustic requirements, polyester fiber/glass can be used cotton padding for acoustic grooved panels.

The grooved timber panel has longitudinal grooves and slats, and a grooved sound insulation board is processed along the length of the panel. The basic core board is a 15 mm thick fiberboard with a veneer laminated on the front and black sound-absorbing felt on the back. These grooved timber panels and grooved acoustic wood panels consist of a laminated surface, a basic core board and black sound-absorbing felt attached to the back. The grooved grooved wall panel consists of a panel made of sound-absorbing fire-resistant panels with linear perforations for excellent uniformity. These grooved acoustic wall panels can be placed with a 50 mm thick sound insulation backing to enhance the sound insulation performance of the entire system. The grooved wall panel material is based on the principle of acoustics, and has remarkable sound absorption function, especially the sound absorption effect of low frequency.

The core material used in the fire rating acoustic timber panels is China and EU class B MDF.

The medium density fiberboard panels used in our timber acoustic panels are impact resistant and are ideal for high traffic areas such as corridors, halls and lecture halls in schools, universities and public places.

Timber Acoustic Panels Installation

Our timber acoustic panel is designed for use with clips and keel for installation on suspended ceiling rails. Before the installation work, the material should be in the field conditions to rest 2 to 3 days. In new buildings with fresh concrete and gypsum, no installation shall be carried out until the relative humidity is equal. Every square meter should use 17 clips.

If the surface is a natural wood veneer, since natural products are with inherent variations, the acoustic timber panel should be selected for color and grain match before installation.

Processing and Storage

Timber acoustic panels should be stored in a dry environment and covered to prevent dust and dirt. Open the package and allow the panel to fit into the environment before installation. As these are finished panels, so be careful to prevent scratches and damage.

Acoustic timber slat ceiling provides the beauty of real wood and has additional advantages of acoustic performance. These acoustic timber ceiling panels are manufactured in a variety of configurations to meet most acoustic requirements. Although flat rigid materials are essentially reflective, acoustic absorption can be achieved by perforation. The combination of rigid perforated material and absorbent backing on our acoustic timber ceiling allows you to satisfactorily accomplish aesthetics finishes and excellence in acoustics.

Timber slat ceiling comes with a standard black non-woven textile acoustic backer. Additional absorption can be achieved by loading of the wood slat ceiling panel with an additional absorbent material and requires installation in a wall with a minimum of 50mm cavity. The absorption is achieved by a series of perforations with a regular pattern back side and a series of linear grooves front side. Through this prior art process, up to 0.90 NRC can be achieved.

The slatted timber ceiling system shows the beauty of real wood and has the added advantage of acoustic performance. They can be used for wood wall and wood ceiling applications and use standard industry installation components.

The timber ceiling tiles are built using the MDF core, which are available in class B, C frame retardant grade per China and EU standards. There are also E1 and E2 grade of formaldehyde medium density fiberboard.

Timber panel ceiling is available with 2 layers of transparent UV-polyacrylate UV enhanced lacquer. Other painting treatments are available upon request.

Installation of Timber Slat Ceiling

Timber suspended ceiling is a tongue and groove board system that can be easily mounted on a wall with a nail clip to wood batten. Based on the concept of creating high performance acoustic products with outstanding aesthetic value, the timber slat ceiling contains a variety of configurations to meet each acoustic requirement. Available board sizes are 128 and 192mm wide.

The installation of timber slat ceiling creates a complete overall look. Additional acoustic effects can be achieved by installing a layer of high density glass fiber behind the product.
